🥊 About Heavyweight Rankings
Heavyweight (265 lbs) is one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC. Our rankings offer 3 perspectives: ELO Rating (current performance), Fan Poll (head-to-head voting), and Fan Ratings (skill-based community ratings).
ELO rankings are data-driven — every fighter starts at 1000 and ratings adjust after each fight based on outcome, opponent strength, and method. Title fights are weighted 3x. Click the star button on any fighter to rate their skills.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the best Heavyweight fighter right now?
Our ELO rankings show the best Heavyweight fighters based on performance. Fighters are ranked by their current ELO rating, which adjusts after every fight based on outcome and opponent strength. Use the Active filter to see only current competitors.
What is the difference between Current ELO and Peak ELO?
Current ELO is the fighter's rating right now, reflecting all wins, losses, and inactivity decay. Peak ELO is the highest rating they ever achieved in their career. A fighter at their peak will show the same value for both.
How do Fan Poll rankings work for Heavyweight?
Fan Poll rankings are based on head-to-head voting. The community is shown two fighters and votes for who they think is better. These votes are processed through an ELO system to produce rankings that reflect collective fan opinion.
How often are Heavyweight rankings updated?
ELO rankings update automatically after every UFC event. Fan Poll and Fan Rating rankings update in real-time as votes come in. Check back after each event to see how results shake up the division.
