How does MMA.SOCIAL Fantasy Pick'em work?

Pick the winner of every bout on an upcoming UFC card before picks lock at 2:00 PM ET on fight day, and call the method and the round for bonus points.

Lock one pick per card to double it. Once a card is scored, players are ranked two ways: by total points and by fantasy ELO. Playing is free with an MMA.SOCIAL account. The next card open for picks is UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs. Nolan, on October 31.

How are pick'em points scored?

A correct winner is worth 10 points. The right method adds 5, the right round of a finish adds 5, a main event adds 3 and a title fight adds 5.

That total is then scaled by the two fighters’ pre-fight MMA.SOCIAL ELO ratings (the loser’s divided by the winner’s), so calling an underdog pays up to ×2.5 and backing a heavy favourite as little as ×0.5. A locked pick is doubled, and a wrong lock costs 10 points. A wrong pick scores nothing, a draw or no contest is a push, and every pick correct on a card of five or more picks adds a 25-point Perfect Card bonus. Picking every fight on the card adds 10 more.
