MMA Ranking Maker

    Popular fighters to rank

Tap any of these to add them to the bottom of your list.

    Top-rated fights to rank

The fans' highest-scored bouts. Tap one to add it; ctrl-click opens the fight.

    Rank a division

Tap a weight class to load its all-time top 10 by peak ELO (our rating), then put them in your order. Ctrl-click opens that division's rankings.

    What you can rank

An all-time top 10. The GOAT starter loads the ten highest peak-ELO fighters in UFC history, the same order the GOAT rankings use - drag Jones, St-Pierre, Silva and the rest into the order you would defend. The pound-for-pound board is the current-form version of the same argument.

A weight class, champion to prospect. Every UFC division has its own starter above, men's and women's, and its own ranking page if you want the numbers before you commit.

The best fights. Search any bout - "silva sonnen", "jones gustafsson", or a card like "UFC 165" - and it lands on the list as who beat whom, with the method beside it. The fans' top-rated fights make a strong starting ten; the biggest upsets and the fastest finishes are two more angles.

Finishers, champions, eras. Rank the knockout artists off the most knockouts board, the submission specialists off most submissions, or every titleholder from the champions timeline. A list can mix fighters and fights, and it can be any length.

    Ranking maker questions

What is the MMA Ranking Maker?

A free tool for ranking UFC fighters or fights in one straight order, #1 to #N - your top ten heavyweights, the best title fights of the decade, whatever you want to settle. Search the roster or the bout database, put the entries in order, give the list a title, then share it as a link or an image.

How is a ranking different from a tier list?

A tier list groups fighters into bands - S, A, B - without ordering anyone inside a band. A ranking puts every entry in one exact place. Use the tier list maker to say "these five are elite"; use this when you want to say who is fifth.

Can I rank fights as well as fighters?

Yes. Switch the search to Fights and type either fighter or the event - "jones gustafsson" or "UFC 165" both find the bout. Every UFC fight on MMA.SOCIAL is available, written as who beat whom with the method beside it - KO/TKO, submission, decision - and the card it was on. Fighters and fights can share one list, though most lists are one or the other.

How many entries can a ranking hold?

As many as you want. There is no cap - the image simply gets taller. A very long list shares better as a link than as a picture.

How do I reorder the entries?

Drag a row on a computer, or use the arrows beside it. On a phone, tap an entry's rank number to pick it up, then tap the rank it should take - everything in between shifts to make room. Reverse flips the whole list for a countdown.

Can I save my ranking as an image or share it?

Yes. Download image renders the list as a PNG with the MMA.SOCIAL mark on it; Share hands you a link that rebuilds the exact list, or opens your phone's share sheet with the image attached. Nothing is uploaded or stored on our side - the list lives in the page address.

Can I make a UFC top 10 list?

Yes - that is what most people build here. Load the GOAT top 10 for a starting order by peak ELO, or pick a weight class to get its all-time top 10, then drag the names into your order and rename the list. Any length works: a top 5, a top 25, a whole division.

Can I rank fighters by division?

Yes. The Rank a division row loads the top ten of any UFC weight class, men's and women's, ordered by peak MMA.SOCIAL ELO - our own rating, not the UFC's - and you take it from there. A fighter who has changed weight class is listed under their current or primary division.

    About the ranking maker

Rank your top ten of all time, order a division from champion to prospect, or settle which title fight was the best of its year. Search covers every fighter on MMA.SOCIAL and every UFC bout in the database, each fight with its result, so anyone with a record and any fight that happened is available. Add as many entries as you like.

Nothing is stored on our side. Your ranking lives in the page address, so "Share ranking" hands you a link that rebuilds exactly what you made - and "Download image" renders it as a PNG with the MMA.SOCIAL mark on it, ready to post.

Prefer bands to a strict order? The tier list maker groups fighters into tiers you name yourself. Want the numbers before you commit? The GOAT rankings sort by peak ELO, top fights shows what the fans scored highest, and fighter comparison puts any two side by side.

How do I make my own UFC rankings?

Search any UFC fighter or fight on this page and add it to the list, then drag the entries into your order, #1 to #N, and give the list a title.

Share ranking copies a link that rebuilds the exact list; Download image saves it as a PNG. Nothing is stored on our side and no account is needed.

Every fighter with a UFC bout and every UFC fight recorded on MMA.SOCIAL is available; the starting orders use peak MMA.SOCIAL ELO, our own rating, not a UFC ranking.
