About Undefeated Fighter Rankings

Maintaining a perfect record in the UFC is one of the most difficult achievements in professional sports. These rankings track every fighter with zero losses and at least 3 UFC fights, ranked by how many wins they have kept that record through.

An undefeated record becomes more impressive with each fight, because the reward for winning is a harder opponent next time - the schedule gets tougher exactly as the record gets more valuable, which is why dozens of fighters are unbeaten after three or four fights and almost nobody reaches double figures. Where fighters are level on wins we order them by ELO, which weighs the quality of the opposition they beat, so a perfect run against contenders outranks a perfect run against short-notice debutants.
