About All-Time Win Streaks

This leaderboard ranks the longest consecutive win streaks any fighter has ever assembled, rebuilt fight-by-fight from their full recorded history. Unlike our active streaks page — which only shows current, ongoing runs by active fighters — this is the historical record book: the greatest streaks of all time, whether they belong to a reigning champion still adding to the tally or a legend whose run was snapped years ago.

What a long streak proves, and what it does not

A streak is the cleanest evidence of sustained dominance the record book offers, because it cannot be padded: one bad night wipes it out entirely. It is also the bluntest. The count treats every win alike, so five title defences against ranked contenders read exactly the same as five wins over short-notice opponents on the preliminary card. It says nothing about how the wins came, whether the fighter was ever in trouble, or how long the run took — a seven-fight streak assembled in three years and one stretched across a decade of injury layoffs are indistinguishable here. Nor does it account for division: a run built at one weight is counted alongside a run built at another. For the quality of opposition behind a number, read it next to our ELO ratings, which weight who a fighter beat rather than how many.

A green Active or Unbroken chip means the streak is still standing: the fighter is either riding that exact run right now, or retired without ever being beaten out of it. A red Broken chip means it ended — somewhere after that run, a loss, a draw or a no contest ended it. What is the difference between the two tabs?
A win streak counts consecutive victories, so a loss, a draw or a no contest all end it. An undefeated streak counts the fights a fighter won inside their longest run without a loss, so draws and no contests neither end it nor add to it. Jon Jones is the clearest example: his 2017 win over Daniel Cormier was overturned to a no contest, which splits his run of victories in two but leaves his unbeaten run whole.
What counts as a win streak here?
A win streak is a run of consecutive victories with nothing else in between. We rebuild every fighter's career fight-by-fight in chronological order and record the longest unbroken run of wins they ever put together. A loss, a draw and a no contest all end it - a no contest is an interruption like any other, so the count restarts after it.
What do the Active, Unbroken and Broken labels mean?
Active and Unbroken (in green) both mean the streak is still standing — Active if the fighter is currently riding their longest-ever run, Unbroken if they retired on it and were never beaten out of it. Broken (in red) means they later lost (or drew), ending what had been their longest run.
Why might a famous streak look shorter than you remember?
We only count fights recorded in our database. A fighter's pre-UFC or regional bouts may be missing, so a streak shown here can be shorter than their true all-promotions run. We also reset a streak on a draw or a no contest, which some sources ignore.
