About Most UFC Fights Without a Finish

Fighters who have never won inside the distance, ranked by how many bouts they have had

This leaderboard ranks UFC fighters who have never won a fight inside the distance, ordered by how many bouts they have had. Nobody on this page has a knockout, a technical knockout, a doctor's stoppage or a submission to their name in the UFC; every win they have was handed to them by the judges.

Two very different careers on one board

The top of the list is dominated by long careers spent going the distance — Katlyn Cerminara has seventeen UFC bouts and eleven decision wins. But further down sits Movsar Evloev, unbeaten at 10-0 with every win on the cards, which is not a story about a fighter who cannot finish so much as one about a fighter who does not need to. Reading the record in the caption beside the fight count is what separates the two.

How this differs from finish rate

Every fighter here sits at zero percent on our lowest finish rate board, which ranks the same population by proportion rather than volume. A large group tied at zero cannot be ordered, so that board answers who finishes least often while this one answers who has gone longest without a stoppage. For the opposite end see most finishes and highest finish rate.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a finish here?
A win by knockout, technical knockout, doctor's stoppage or submission — any victory that ended the fight before the final bell. Everyone on this board has won only on the judges' scorecards, or has not won at all. It is the same definition our most finishes board uses, so a fighter cannot count as a finisher on one page and not the other.
Is this the same as the worst finish rate board?
It answers a different question with the same people. Every fighter here appears on our lowest finish rate board at 0 percent, but a twelve-way tie at zero has no order to it — it tells you who finishes least often, not who has gone the longest without finishing anyone. This board ranks by the number of fights, so the top of it is the longest run without a stoppage rather than an undifferentiated group of zeroes.
Does never finishing anyone mean a fighter is not dangerous?
No. Movsar Evloev is 10-0 in the UFC with every win on the cards, which makes him one of the most successful fighters on this page rather than one of the least. Fighters arrive here by controlling rounds — grappling, positional dominance, volume at range — and winning them clearly enough that judges never have to think hard. It measures how a fighter wins, not whether they do.
Why do no-contests not count as fights?
Because a no-contest is a bout on the record rather than a fight with a result, and our most fights board excludes them for the same reason. Movsar Evloev's raw record carries eleven bouts and one no-contest, which is why he reads ten here.
