    The longest runs the belt never answered - biggest UFC win streaks with no undisputed title fight

    This leaderboard ranks UFC fighters by their longest career win streak among those who have never fought for an undisputed championship. A run of consecutive wins is the thing that normally earns a title shot, which makes a long one that never produced a shot the most direct evidence a career was passed over.

    Why this differs from most wins without a title shot

    Our most UFC wins without a title shot board ranks the same population by total victories, and it produces a different order. Total wins reward longevity: a fighter can win eight of eleven for a decade and finish very high without ever assembling three in a row. A streak rewards the opposite - a concentrated run at the right moment. Tony Ferguson's twelve straight is the clearest case of a run that should have ended in a championship bout and did not.

    A handful of fighters here did compete for a belt of a kind - an interim title - without ever facing the undisputed champion, and by the definition used across this site that does not count as a title shot.

    Who has the longest UFC win streak without ever getting a title shot?
    Tony Ferguson, with 12 straight wins between 2013 and 2019. He was never booked for the undisputed lightweight championship despite that run - the fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov was scheduled five times and never happened. He did hold an interim lightweight belt, which is why he appears on a board about fighters who never fought for a title.
    Why is a former interim champion on this list?
    Because this board counts only fights for the undisputed championship. An interim belt is created when the real champion cannot defend, and a fighter can win one without ever facing the actual titleholder. By that definition an interim run does not remove anyone from this list.
    Does the BMF belt count as a title shot?
    No. The BMF title is a one-off promotional championship rather than a divisional one - it does not sit in any division's lineage. The BMF bouts in our database are recorded as ordinary fights, so they neither qualify as a title shot nor remove anyone from this board.
    How is the streak counted?
    Every fighter's career is rebuilt fight by fight in chronological order, and we record the longest unbroken run of wins they ever put together. A loss ends a run, and so does a draw - a draw is not a win. A no contest is different: it is skipped over, because a fight waved off after an accidental foul is not a result the fighter failed to win, and the bouts either side of it are treated as consecutive. A bout that has been announced but not yet fought does not end anything.
    Does someone leave this board when they get a title fight?
    Yes, but not until the fight actually happens. A championship bout on the calendar is not a title shot yet, and a fighter who has been booked has still never fought for a belt - so they stay on this board until the night itself. Movsar Evloev is the current example: 10-0 and booked against Alexander Volkanovski for October 2026, he belongs here until that fight takes place, and moves to our streak-to-a-first-title board afterwards.
