Total strikes are the widest possible measure of offensive contact: significant blows plus the short, close-range strikes that land from top control and the clinch. This page narrows that measure to its smallest complete container — one scored round — and ranks the heaviest five minutes anyone has produced, first as an individual and then as a two-way total.
The distinction from the per-fight record matters. Across a full bout, volume is a function of time on the clock, so championship-distance fights own the leaderboard almost by default. Compressed into a single round, the metric becomes rate: how densely can a fighter make contact before the horn. That reshuffles the names entirely, and it lets one dominant round inside an otherwise ordinary fight — or a losing one — outrank a twenty-five-minute grind.

Each row is one fighter's landed total strikes inside one round, taken from official round-by-round statistics, with the round number shown alongside the opponent and event. Use the Single Fighter tab for individual output and Combined for rounds where both athletes were scoring, and apply the division filter to find the ceiling within a specific weight class.
